At VIV Asia, Misset International, publishing house of Poultry World, All About Feed, Pig Progress and Dairy Global, launched its Sustainability Impact Award. This new initiative aims to recognise and celebrate sustainable contributions to the livestock sector while stimulating innovation to inspire the entire industry.
Together with partners Evonik, Rabobank and Fefac, Misset International wants to promote and reward sustainable feed-related products and services that benefit the long-term development of socially acceptable, sustainable and profitable animal protein production.
“VIV Asia marks the kick-off of our sustainability impact initiative. We want to incentivise stakeholders in the feed space to come forward with their products and services that bring measurable benefits to the livestock industry. An exciting project that will culminate in an award ceremony during VIV Europe on 3 June 2026,” said Fabian Brockötter, Misset International editor in chief.
A dedicated website is now live for more information and offers the possibility to enter the award process as well as the chance to nominate 3rd parties, starting June 2025.
Participation in the Sustainability Impact Award initiative offers a plethora of opportunities to communicate the entrees’ sustainability efforts. Brockötter states: “Contenders gain global recognition for their product or service, will receive valuable feedback from an expert jury, get the opportunity to pitch the solution to industry leaders and compete for a prestigious award that can elevate their brand and impact.”
A 5-person jury will assess the contenders on multiple KPIs, divided in social, environmental and economic impact. Applicants have until the end of 2025 to submit a dossier that showcases their sustainability efforts and the effect thereof on the value chain.
