BioResource International has developed a new enzyme: Xylamax™ for use in poultry diets.
It is a proprietary thermo-stable pure xylanase enzyme proven to improve energy absorption in both wheat and corn/soy poultry diets, resulting in lower feed costs and improved return on investment.
Multiple field animal trials conducted to date have consistently shown kcal/kg AME improvement levels above current industry norms. The most recent research conducted by Texas A&M University is a 42 day broiler grow-out trial. Itn was concluded that the enzyme increased ileal digestible energy at day 28 and 42. Feed conversion rates were improved.
More details of this trial and the product will be presented at the International Poultry Scientific Forum (IPSF) on January 27, 2014 during the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE).
In 2008, BioResource International entered a worldwide agreement with Novus international. The signed agreement states that Novus will be the exclusive worldwide marketer for BRI’s patented enzyme technologies.
