Dr Jim C. Stockam has joined Lohmann Animal Health International as a technical services veterinarian.
Stockam will give technical support to Lohmann Animal Health International customers and provide research and development assistance on vaccine evaluation, field trials and new product development.
Stockam has 26 years of experience in poultry health and food safety, with an emphasis on vertically integrated production. Throughout the past 20 years, he has a served as a veterinarian with turkey producers administering preventative medicine programs and working in research and development.
He began his career as a veterinary medical officer with the U.S Department of Agriculture. Stockam earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s degree in biological science from Missouri Southern State University.
