Hubbard
Grant White has joined Hubbard as senior technical service manager. He will report to Dr Eric Bonjour, global director of technical and Veterinary Services, and assist Hubbard’s existing technical team in Asia to support their rapidly growing customer base.
Pancosma
Feed additives company, Pancosma, has appointed Dr Goetz Gotterbarm as chief executive officer. He will be chief in command from 1 December 2015. Dr Gotterbarm joins Pancosma coming from Biorigin, a Brazilian company focusing on the use of biotechnological processes for animal nutrition.
Aviagen
Michael Leahy has been appointed managing director of Aviagen Australia. With over 20 years’ experience in the poultry industry across a range of responsibilities, including farm management, state livestock manager and sales management, he will become part of the international business team and will be based in the Aviagen ANZ corporate office at Goulburn in Australia.
Association of Poultry Primary Breeders Veterinarians
Dr Travis Schaal, internal technical services manager for Hy-Line, has been elected president of the Association of Poultry Primary Breeders Veterinarians. This group, composed of representatives from poultry primary breeders in North America, represents more than 60% of the world’s supply of meat-type chicken, egg-type chicken and turkey breeding stock and works to address issues related to bird health and welfare, the international trade of poultry breeding stock, food safety and public health.
Kemin
Kemin Industries has appointed Akram Talibov as commercial director for the company’s animal nutrition and health division in Europe, beginning 1 October 2015. Talibov most recently worked as general manager at Biotechnology LLC, where he led the Greenprotein Project. He will work closely with Mathieu Cortyl to help achieve company goals in the EMEA region.
IDT Biologika
Daniel Windhorst has been appointed key account manager for salmonella vaccines, swine and poultry for IDT Biologika. Dr Windhorst’s role will be to promote IDT’s salmonella vaccines worldwide.
