Poultry World seminars at IPPE, registration open

At the end of January many poultry professionals will gather at the IPPE in Atlanta. For Poultry World a good reason to organise 2 seminars at the exhibition.

If you are in Atlanta in person, we welcome you to join our events:

  • Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) seminar on Tuesday 28 January from 12.00 noon and/or
  • Nutrition and Health seminar on Wednesday 29 January, also from 12.00 noon.

Both seminars take place at the exhibition in the Georgia World Congress Center in Building A, Level 3, room A313. Joining the seminars gives you the chance to learn from the best experts in the world.

Precision Livestock Farming

During the PLF seminar Optifarm CEO David Speller will give a presentation on maximising the benefits of precision poultry farming, Evonik director Kristof Mertens will cover Big data, biostatistics and smart algorithms and veterinarian Maarten de Gussem will share his experience in turning big data into smart data from a practitioner’s view.

Health and Nutrition

At our Health and Nutrition seminar De Gussem will explain the finesses of gut health, Julien Kanarek of DuPont will show how tailored strategies can help achieve a favourable nutribiotic state, Alain Riggi from Phileo will explain effective solutions to reduce Salmonella prevalence and Cobb nutritionist Justina Caldas will explain the impact of broiler genetic development on nutritional requirements.
