Applications for Ford Foundation Fund now available

07-06-2007 | |

The Poultry Science Education Fund of the U.S. Poultry & Egg Harold E. Ford Foundation supports student recruitment at colleges and universities with poultry science courses that do not have a full department with a poultry science degree.

Applications for funding requests are now available. Any institution of higher education in the US that offers an identifiable poultry science program is eligible to apply for a recruitment grant of up to $7,000.

A committee of poultry science school professionals will evaluate funding requests and make recommendations to the board of directors of the Foundation. The number of proposals accepted each year varies depending on need and how the funds are intended to be used. Institutions wanting to apply for a grant, click here. (Please forward nine copies to U.S. Poultry & Egg Harold E. Ford Foundation before 1 August.)
