Russia will soon be importing poultry meat from Mexico. This follows the recent decision to lift the ban on meat imports from Chile.

Russian experts have visited Chile to determine the sanitary standards of the country. Russia has given permission to 12 Chilean companies to resume meat exports, of which, 4 have received permission for the export of poultry, according to the federal veterinary and phytosanitary inspection service Rosselkhoznadzor.
Russia is already importing meat from three other Latin American countries – Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
