Indonesia: Girl dies from suspected bird flu

A 6-year-old girl from Depok has died from a suspected case of bird flu at Persahabatan hospital, East Jakarta, on 28 February.

The little girl was admitted for treated 1 day earlier.

The mother of the child said her daughter had died after suffering dizziness and fever, with body temperatures exceeding 40 degrees celsius.

It is reported that the doctor had diagnosed her daughter with Typhoid fever.
