John Halley joins Aviagen

Aviagen, the poultry breeding company, has announced that Dr. John Halley has accepted the position of Global Head of Nutrition Services.

Halley and his team of poultry nutritionists will continue to ensure Aviagen maintains a leadership position in providing innovative nutrition technical support to internal production operations and clients, and in conducting innovative research to keep nutrition technical advice current and consistent. 

Halley received his PhD degree in Poultry Nutrition from the University of Arkansas and brings with him 25 years of experience in the global poultry industry.  He has worked in the integrated USA broiler industry with both Wayne Farms and ConAgra Poultry, in the allied poultry industry with DuCoa, BASF and Wade Jones Animal Health, and most recently with Cobb-Vantress as Director of Nutrition and Feed Milling.

“With his wealth of knowledge and experience in the global poultry industry, Halley will be a tremendous asset to our global nutritionist team,” said Bryan  Fancher, Group VP Global Technical Operations.
