Laprovet, export distributor of veterinary products in France, recently opened its new facilities in the city of Tours. This became necessary since the company was facing a space limitations after several years of growth.
Laprovet has been working from their Tours based facilities, located about 200 southwest of Paris, for 40 years. They have been active, mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa for over 30 years, with veterinary products for the ruminant and poultry sectors (including village chicken disease prevention).
Since 2005, they also offer avian vaccines, which are produced under European Standards. This opened new horizons, including access to countries in the Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
As a result, Laprovet doubled its turnover in the last 4 years. This created the need for larger facilities. Apart from 50% more office space, the storage capacity tripled.
The next step for Laprovet is expanding at the international market, focusing on avian pharmaceuticals and vaccines in targeted countries.
