Nine arrests: poultry-supply bribery

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has made nine arrests for bribery in connection to restaurant poultry supplies in Hong Kong.

The nine people arrested include two directors and three employees of a chilled meat and poultry company, three chefs of three restaurants, as well as a chef’s associate.
The directors and employees of the poultry company allegedly conspired to offer regular bribes to the chefs, who are alleged to have placed orders with the company in return, and connived at the substandard poultry supplies.
