President of Pilgrim’s Pride dies
President and chief executive officer of poultry processor, Pilgrim’s Pride, passed away on Monday. O.B Goolsby Jr suffered a severe stroke on Saturday morning.
The board of directors of The Pilgrim’s Pride will be appointing a special committee of directors to start the process of selecting a new president and chief executive officer.
Goolsby’s executive team has ensured that all business activities will continue without interruption.
Goolsby had served as Pilgrim’s Pride’s president and CEO since September 2004. He was 60.
