Prime introduces shoulder & neck skinner

02-06-2009 | |

Prime Equipment Group introduces its CSNS-1 Chicken Shoulder & Neck Skinner which removes neck and shoulder skin in-line utilising industry-proven skinning technology.

The CSNS-1 provides an opportunity to improve boneless breast yields in hand deboned operations by up to .25% to live weight by exposing the shoulder and initial wing cutting area therefore simplifying on-line wing removal.

It has also proven to significantly reduce pre-chill bacteria counts by removing excess crop, trachea and esophagus material without sacrificing yield. Prime also offers single-stage machines (just to skin the neck or shoulder), and each unit can be manufactured to suit nearly any evisceration or deboning operation.
