Salmonella in Finnish poultry feed

Salmonella has been detected in poultry feed manufactured by Rehuraisio in Finalnd. Reports state that the poultry feed has been distributed to 26 farms in the region.

The virus is thought to be the Tennessee Salmonella strain, and was discovered recently at 2 egg-producing farms.

The production of the poultry feed has been suspended and cleaning operations at the plant are currently underway. Affected feed still in storage will not be sold.
