SPACE attracting more visitors once more

The annual livestock show SPACE, held 9-12 September in Rennes, France attracted more visitors than last year’s edition, figures revealed.

Despite the high feed prices, this year’s edition counted 113,580 visitors, a 2% increase in comparison to the 2007 show, when 111,426 people entered the showgrounds. Last year saw a 4% increase from the 2006 show, when 107,147 visitors entered the gates at Parc-Expo of Rennes Airport.
This year’s number of foreign visitors declined slightly, as 9,066 people (7.9%) from abroad made it to SPACE. Last year, 9,132 international visitors (8.2%) from 100 different countries found their way to Britanny.
The next edition of SPACE will be held 15-19 September, 2009, once more in Rennes.
