Specialists converge on Brazilian symposium

Supply and demand of the international market of grain is one of the subjects to be debated during the X Symposium South Brazil of Poultry – X SBSA and Brasil South Poultry Fair.

One of the most important events of the Brazilian poultry processing, the SBSA, held 31 March – 2 April in Chapecó, SC – Brazil, is organised by the Western Nucleus of Veterinary Doctors. Each year, a selection of important subjects and nationally and internationally recognised professionals is made to draw directives, to point tendencies, and anticipate challenges of the sector.

“Attentive to the demands of the worldwide poultry industry, the Scientific Commission of the SBSA looked to rule the theme in the essential questions of meat market and his fundamental raw materials. In particular, the chain of corn and its supply challenges for a market in frank expansion, as well as the worldwide demands, European standards, products and processes for the growth of our poultry farming,” highlights the veterinarian Miguel Ângelo Breda Canal, president of the X SBSA.

Carried out in one of the biggest producing regions of poultry/broiler of the country, the SBSA still has the mission to bring together professionals, technicians, vets and businessmen of the productive sector.
