Third power plant fuelled by chicken waste
Fibrowatt LLC, a US company operating power plants fuelled by chicken waste, will build its 3rd and final North Carolina plant in Montgomery County.
Construction on the plant is expected to begin in 2010, with operations starting in 2012. Montgomery County and the town of Biscoe will pay incentives of $4.8 mln to the company for the project, reports state.
