From 21-24 May, Veronafiere in Verona, Italy, will host the 24th edition of Eurocarne 2009, the International Exhibition for the Meat Industry.

The event is dedicated to the entire production cycle of red and white meat from the slaughterhouse to the shop counter.

Eurocarne will take place in cooperation with Ipack-Ima, a leading exhibition organiser for packaging, agro-food and logistics machinery, technology and products.

In particular, the exhibition will display tools, technology and plants for killing, slaughtering and the processing of side products; plants and machinery for meat preparation and processing; technology and materials for other phases of the agro-food industry such as packaging; equipment, accessories and additives for meat processing; refrigeration and freezing plants; products for food safety and the hygiene of working environments; distribution and sale. The latter segment includes refrigerated shop counters, shop set-up and furnishings and shop counter equipment.
