World Cup fever hits South Korea’s chicken industry
While South Korea’s national team still plays in the World Cup it is expected that South Koreans will consume over 1.8 million fried chickens per day – 2.5 times the national daily average.
According to the Korean Chicken Food Service Association chicken consumption tends to be up during all major sporting events in which the country’s team participates.
