Aviagen is celebrating the success of a recent seminar in Kathmandu, which formally introduced the company and its capabilities to the Nepalese market.
The event, with 90 attendees provided a platform to show-case Aviagen India, set up at a cost of over $10m. Delegates were able to hear how the business will be able to support Nepalese poultry producers as their local supplier. Also under discussion were important genetic, technical and veterinary insights from the Aviagen team.
Saksake Pacharadit, Aviagen Asia Sales Manager, said: “We were delighted to have so many people attend the event. It shows there is a real appetite for innovation in Nepal and we hope that we were able to show that Aviagen is the company to deliver what customers want and provided many tools to continually enhance the performance of our products in the Nepalese market.”
As always at an Aviagen event, sharing information was high on the agenda. Presentations covered what to expect from broiler breeders for the next decade, effective lighting for broiler breeders, early brooding in open houses, a veterinary update and Nepal’s parent stock demands at the moment.
