Disodium tetraborate decahydrate to control poultry house mites

The Northern fowl mite and chicken or red mite can build large populations on infested poultry in a matter of weeks and may adversely affect egg production, male reproductive potential, and overall poultry performance. Populations of these two common ecto-parasites were used to test a new anti-parasitic agent for effectiveness.
