Guidelines to curb bacteria in stacked poultry litter

Research funded by the US Poultry & Egg Association studied the inactivation of bacteria in stacked poultry litter. The goal of this research was to develop easily measurable parameters for assessing conditions that will eliminate or reduce potentially pathogenic bacteria in litter.
