The eggs from the Kashmir Valley are all set to hit the international market for the first time, reports state.
Having captured the domestic market, the Trambroo poultry farm has cracked an international deal. The eggs, known as ‘desi eggs’, are reportedly in more demand than the eggs that are produced in other states.
“There is a huge demand for the Kashmiri eggs. We supplied eggs to Kashmir region, and then to Ladakh, after capturing Ladakh’s market, we captured Delhi and Jammu market, then we supplied eggs to 5-star hotels,” said Nazir Ahmad Tramboo, MD of Tramboo poultry.
“Now we will supply eggs to the international market, after a few formalities are completed. With God’s grace, I think the formalities will be completed soon, after that a direct flight from Kashmir to Dubai will carry our orders (eggs),” he added.
At present, Tramboo poultry farm produces at least 30,000 eggs a day and in the coming months the production of these eggs will touch around 100,000 per day.
