Inhibitory conveyor belts reduce cross-contamination

Many factors contribute to foodborne disease outbreaks, including surface to product contact cross-contamination. A recent study demonstrated the efficacy of commercial conveyor belts containing a microbial inhibitor in reducing the populations of several foodborne bacterial pathogens.
