With the vision to become Vietnam’s leading chicken meat exporter and producer, the largest export-only chicken breeding and processing complex in Southeast Asia has been inaugurated by CP Foods Vietnam.

The complex is the first project CP Vietnam has started to fully integrate chicken exporting and promote Vietnam’s status as a food manufacturing country.

The facility, located in the Binh Phuoc province, includes a feed factory, parent chicken farms, hatcheries, broiler farms, slaughtering plants, and processing plants. The facility had an initial investment capital of US$ 230 million, with the capacity to produce and process up to 100 million birds/year. The facility will create jobs for more than 3,000 workers.

Exports markets will include Hong Kong, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, and the Middle East. The project is expected to bring in foreign currency of US$ 100 million/year in stage 1 and US$ 200 million/year in stage 2.
