Mycotoxins, an insidious global concern

Despite great efforts and preventive measures, mould contamination and subsequent mycotoxin production remains an ever-present natural threat to the safe use of grains and feed for poultry and livestock. The primary method of preventing mycotoxicosis is to understand why it occurs and under what conditions. Getting to know the basics makes it much easier for a poultryman to fight it.
