Poultry vitamin requirements are dynamic and may change with the development of new high performance breeds, modifications in nutrition or production systems, or with improved understanding of vitamin functions. Therefore, vitamin recommendation guidelines need to be updated regularly. The Optimum Vitamin Nutrition concept was developed in response to feed industry demand for practical and commercially relevant information, ensuring that the vitamin supply does not jeopardise health, performance and welfare of poultry.
