Pas Reform Hatchery technologies has opened a brand new state-of-the-art logistics and training centre in Doetinchem, The Netherlands.
The facilities have almost been doubled in size since it was first opened in 2011.
“With no doubt we needed to expand”, said CEO Bart Aangenendt in his address to the many guests at the official opening ceremony on Nov 1. Almost 100 years ago, Pas Reform was founded in the small picturesque village of Zeddam, nearby Doetinchem. Still the headquarters and factory are based at these premises. But due to a lack of space and all the traffic of large trucks involved, a new facility was necessary. Particularly since further expansion is expected, mainly due to growing markets in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The facility also includes a training centre, which can accommodate a group of up to 20 people. The company’s aim is to conduct courses for its customers, which will not only include the proper use of their machines, but also the entire incubation process. The courses will be conducted in the language of the customer.
Last year, the company generated €50 million net sales, which is seven times more compared to the year 2000, the beginning of this millennium. According to Bart Aangenendt Pas Reform are second biggest in the world, with customers in over 100 countries.
