Potters Poultry have been awarded the seal of approval by the American Humane Association Farm Animal Programme for their compact aviary system, giving it Humane Housing status.

Mike Button export manager for Potters said. “This is an important achievement for us and shows the commitment to providing the egg producers worldwide with workable approved animal welfare friendly systems and helps the egg producers give confidence to their customers that eggs are produced to high animal welfare standards.”

Mike Button and Anthony Harman the USA business manager for Potters received the award and certificate of approval from Dr Marion Garcia chief veterinary officer for American Humane and Will Gillis standards and systems manager for American Humane at the recent IPPE in Atlanta USA.
