Poultry output in Russia up by 12%

Russia’s poultry and poultry by-products production went up by 282,000 tonnes, in May, an increase of 12% compared with May last year, Bloomberg reports.

The numbers, released by Rosstat, Russia’s statistics agency, show across the board increases in all meat product and by-product categories; pork rose by 12% to 73,700 tonnes, beef increased by 0.7% to 13,800 tonnes.
