Three well-known poultry vets are to join forces under the brand Poultry Health Services (PHS).

Minster Poultry and Gamebird Vets and Retford Poultry Partnership will rebrand, bringing all poultry veterinarians owned by parent company Origin under one name.

Origin is a rapidly-growing group of veterinarian practices backed by investment firm August Equity.

It acquired both Minster and Retford Poultry Services in 2016, and also owns Westpoint Farm Vets, Biobest Laboratories, Garth Pig Practice, Farmacy, Kingshay, Farmvets Southwest and Oakwood Vets.

A spokesperson for PHS said: “The merger brings together leading poultry vets, laboratory teams and experienced practice support which will allow all clients to benefit from the combined strengths and expertise of each individual business, and provide access to the full range of dedicated support services.”
